The Events Calendar Shortcodes & Attributes Guide

A shortcode is a simple code snippet that you can insert into your WordPress posts, pages, or widgets to display events. Think of it as a command that tells WordPress, “show my events here in this style, with these specific settings.

Shortcode Format

The basic format of a shortcode looks like this:

[events-shortcode]

The default shortcode of Events Shortcode:

[events-calendar-templates template="default" style="style-1" category="all" date_format="default" start_date="" end_date="" limit="10" order="ASC" hide-venue="no" time="future" date-filter="all_default" featured-only="false" columns="2" autoplay="true" tags="" venues="" organizers="" socialshare="no" filterbar="no" filterbarstyle="both"]

This shows your events with default settings. You can customize this shortcode using different attributes.
